Michael Beale seems intent in adding another left-sided defender for Rangers with Jonathan Panzo, currently, the number one target according to reports and Fabrizio Romano.
The 22-year old centre-half can provide cover at left-back too and impressed on loan at Coventry City last season but now seems to be surplus to requirements at Nottingham Forest.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Rangers-linked Jonathan Panzo is very much still an option according to Fabrizio Romano.

What is the latest in Rangers move for Jonathan Panzo?
When asked for an update on the former Chelsea academy graduate, the Italian transfer journalist said:
“There are also clubs from England and from Germany keen on Panzo, so this is not something completed yet, but he’s one of the targets they have at the club and so I think this is going to be concrete.”
If Rangers get involved in a bidding war with either Bundesliga or Premier League clubs, the chances are that we will lose out.
This is clearly at the forefront of the Gers gaffer’s thinking as he looks to add much-needed quality.

A bid of £2.5m is already reported to have been made by Rangers for Jonathan Panzo but there is no apparent rush to get the deal done.
With Ben Davies still at the club and expected to report for pre-season training, Michael Beale still has a few options available to him to partner Connor Goldson.
The boss does appear to be front loading his summer transfer business though and prioritising new arrivals before departures can be allowed.
If Davies was to leave, it would mean, even if Rangers did sign Jonathan Panzo, that Goldson and John Souttar were our only senior centre-halves.
Having won the league title with Filip Helander being covered by Leon Balogun, it would be an unexpected change of tact.
