Rangers are hot on the heels of Dundee centre-back Luke Graham ahead of the summer transfer window.

Graham has already agreed personal terms with Rangers, with him showing his willingness to move to Ibrox at the end of the season.

Dan Purdy has scouted him on multiple occasions, and the signing looks to be backed by Danny Rohl as well.

Will Rangers sack Danny Rohl if they fail to win the league?

If he goes, who would be a good replacement for him?

Luke Graham goes on record to leave door open for summer exit

Graham has publicly stated that he does not know what the future holds for him and has failed to rule out a summer exit yet again.

This is surely a boost for the Light Blues, as if he wanted to stay, he would have brushed away any talk of a transfer.

The 22-year-old has admitted that his friends have reached out to him as well, asking about his future plans, which shows that he is aware of all the interest.

Graham has said that he does not want to get involved in any transfer talk while the season is going on, but once it is over, he could very well be on the move.

He said: “To be honest, I couldn’t give you a proper answer on where I envision myself next season. All I’m trying to do is focus on keeping Dundee in the league.

“A few of my mates have been texting me saying ‘Where are you off to?’ and stuff like that, but you just try to block it out, and I think I did that really well in the January window, to keep focusing on my own game and not listen to the outside noise.

“I don’t want to get too involved in that while the season’s still ongoing, so I really couldn’t tell you.”

Are Rangers in pole position to sign Graham?

Agreeing personal terms with the former Scotland Under-21s international certainly gives the Gers the advantage in securing his services.

However, it will now come down to negotiations between the two clubs and how much Dundee want for the centre-back.

They are aware of other clubs’ interest in him, including Celtic’s, so they could demand a premium for Graham’s services.

Thus far, Celtic’s interest has not been as advanced as Rangers’, but if the Hoops are to win the league, they could hold the upper hand.

As things stand, this transfer race is the Light Blues’ to lose.
