Michael Beale has said since Jose Cifuentes was the last new arrival at Rangers that he would still like one or two new players before the transfer window shuts.
The team, and squad in general, looked more settled against PSV Eindhoven and it looks as if the Gers gaffer is getting to grips with who can play with who and what systems work best.
This hasn’t stopped The 4th Official from hinting that there could yet be something big on the horizon for Michael Beale and Rangers, maybe his wish of bringing in someone to improve the starting XI is going to come true.

Michael Beale tipped to have busy close to Rangers window
Writing on X, the reliable blog has provided accurate Rangers transfer stories for a few seasons now and claims to have access close to the Ibrox board.
Despite not naming any names, The 4th Official has teased something special:
MORE RANGERS STORIES
“The quiet before the storm of the end of the transfer window.
“Buckle up.
“Having seen this repeatedly in the comments, have to send this tweet. Of course, Lingard is not coming to Rangers.”
The last sentence is surreal.
Previously linked Jesse Lingard has been talked about as having met Michael Beale and as a real player of interest for Rangers.
Ignoring all the reasons why this might be nonsense, it was good to have T4O clarify that we won’t be wasting our money.

A winger has to be the dream for every Rangers fan.
A player who can produce what Rabbi Matondo did ever week and not just for 20-30 minutes.
That is what Michael Beale needs and, judging from recent comments, exactly what he wants too.
