Rangers fans have responded after both the Gers and Celtic were linked with Man United attacker, Jesse Lingard.
TEAMtalk reported on Saturday that both clubs were ‘looking into the possibility of taking Lingard north of the border’, while Premier League clubs Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and West Brom were also mentioned as potential suitors.

Lingard’s current contract at United expires in the summer, but the Red Devils have the option of extending the deal by a further 12 months.
The 27-year-old is well down the pecking order at Old Trafford, though, and has only featured in the League Cup so far this season.
Plenty of Rangers fans are sceptical about their club’s reported interest, while others have made it clear that they don’t think he would improve the squad.

Lingard has made 209 senior appearances for United since graduating from the club’s academy, scoring 33 times and notching 20 assists.
He’s won the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League, while he’s also earned 24 England caps.

However, he hasn’t played international football in 2020 and has struggled to produce at club level for some time, contributing just four goals and two assists from 40 appearances last season.
Lingard’s current wages would also be well beyond what any player at Ibrox is earning.
