A report in the Evening Times claims that Rangers are no longer pursuing Jake Hastie.
This comes less than a week after Football Insider reported that the two parties had agreed a deal.

At the start of the season, few could have foreseen a transfer tug of war over the winger.
A Motherwell academy player, he was yet to make his senior debut for the club and was shipped off on loan to Alloa Athletic.
Since then, though, he’s been a revelation.

After getting minutes under his belt at Alloa, Hastie started 2019 with a bang for ‘Well. He scored five goals in six matches across February and March, immediately attracting interest.
However, this latest report claims that any potential move to Ibrox is now off.
It’s said the Gers have become frustrated at a lack of progress and will now look elsewhere.
A permanent move for Old Firm goalscorer Ryan Kent may still be on the cards, while Birmingham City’s Greg Stewart is another potential target.

Kent already has hero status at Ibrox, so he would be the most popular option, while Stewart is rumoured to be a blue nose.
