Rangers fans have raved about Ryan Kent after the winger spoke highly of the club and its fanbase amid interest from Leeds United.

Earlier this month, the Sun reported that the Premier League club had submitted a Β£10 million bid for the 23-year-old, with Steven Gerrard confirming a short time later that an offer had been β€˜really strongly rejected.’

Since then, the Whites have splashed the cash and have been linked with several more players, while Kent has continued to star for the Gers.

The Englishman has three goals from his opening six appearances this season, making him the joint top scorer in the Premiership at this early stage and he insists his focus is still on making contributions for the Gers.

β€œEvery time I go out on the pitch I just want to give my best for Rangers,” said Kent, as quoted by Rangers FC Twitter. β€œIt’s a massive football club so I’ll continue to do right by Rangers.”

β€œI can’t thank the fans enough, they’ve always been supportive of me.”

Kent’s recent performances have been proof enough that he’s focused on the task at hand under Steven Gerrard but these comments have gone down extremely well with the club’s supporters.

Given that many pleaded with the club to sign the winger on a permanent deal following his 2018/19 loan spell, the vast majority of supporters hope to see Kent remain at Ibrox and some believe these comments to be an indication that he has no intention of leaving.
