Premiership rivals Livingston are reportedly interested in signing Rangers midfielder Stephen Kelly after letting Josh Mullin join Ayr United on loan.
Mullin’s move to Somerset Park was made official earlier today and if reports are to be believed the Lions are targeting Rangers fringe star Kelly to replace him in their squad.

The Daily Record are the ones who initially claimed that Stephen Kelly could be Livingston bound with the midfielder entering the final year of his Rangers contract.
Kelly, 22, has not had a look in under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and appears surplus to requirements at Ibrox with numerous Premiership clubs linked by the Record report.
Livingston linked with Rangers midfielder Stephen Kelly
Livingston are the only team named by the newspaper and they believe that manager David Martindale has already launched a bid to take the youngster to the Tony Macaroni Arena.
It would be an impressive move for Livingston given Kelly’s standing in Scottish youth football and for young Stephen now is clearly the time to settle down and find consistent first-team football.
Once amongst the brightest talents in the Rangers academy, Stephen Kelly made his first-team debut under Steven Gerrard in 2018, coming off the bench in a 4-0 cup win over Ayr United.
However, since then the kid has struggled to make an impression on the Rangers first team even if he has impressed during a series of loan moves.
Stephen Kelly spent time on loan with Ayr United in the Championship – interestingly the side Josh Mullin has just moved to – before spending a season with Ross County in the Premiership.

After spending the first six months of last season at Rangers, the Gers farmed the youngster out on loan to League Two Salford City where once against Kelly impressed.
Now it’s about getting that consistent game time and under David Martindale at Livingston Stephen Kelly can finally get the minutes he is surely desperate for.
Plus, Rangers fans won’t exactly be averse to doing Davie a favour after the Livingston manager had irrational Celtic fans seething earlier in the season.
