Leeds United could be set for a potential £42.4m cash boost amid links to Rangers winger Ryan Kent as reports intensify surrounding Raphinha and Barcelona.
We spoke earlier in the week regarding reports in Spain that the Brazilian winger had agreed terms with the Catalan giants with the move for the 25-year-old now seemingly a matter of time.
But there is still some work to be done regarding a transfer fee with Leeds United then said to be unwilling to budge on a £50m valuation.
Now, Sport are claiming that Barcelona are willing to go to €50m for Raphinha, with €40m up front and €10m in variables. In total this reaches £42.4m.
The news also comes as Barcelona president Juan Laporta namedrops the Brazilian winger and confirms that contact has been made with Raphinha’s agents.

This entire thing will have Rangers fans very interested because of the ongoing links between Leeds United and Ryan Kent.
These appeared in the press again in the last week after a report in Football Insider had claimed that Jesse Marsch’s side still very much retain an interest in the Ibrox star.
This after the club reportedly had two bids – with one confirmed by Rangers – turned down for the £7m ex-Liverpool winger.
As Ryan Kent prepares to enter the final year of his deal at Ibrox in the summer, Rangers will either need to sign the 25-year-old up or ship him out.
With a reported £20m release clause in his contract, it’s unlikely the Gers will recoup this much with a year left on his deal but the club can still expect around £15m if Kent does move on.
However, there is one thing to consider when it comes to Leeds, Rangers, Ryan Kent, Raphinha and Barcelona.
There is also reportedly the chance that Leeds United will be able to sign a Barcelona winger on a part-exchange for Raphinha, with ex-Braga winger Francisco Trincao mooted in the Spanish press.
Meanwhile, Rangers could also yet strike a deal with a 40-goal youth striker phenom amid high-profile links to the Premier League.
