Arsenal defender Auston Trusty has refused to be drawn on his future amid fresh links to Rangers and Michael Beale appearing this week.
The USA international stopper, 24, has just spent the summer back in his home country after a successful season on loan at English Championship side Birmingham City.

Rangers are widely believed to be on the hunt for a left-sided centre-back option with Auston Trusty reportedly Michael Beale’s preferred choice in the position.
However, exit talks are said to have stalled with Premier League Arsenal and with the Ibrox manager hinting that the club may now promote from within, a move for Auston Trusty is up in the air.
Signed from Colorado Rapids in the January of 2022, the MLS side connected with Arsenal’s American owner Stan Kroenke, Auston Trusty is yet to play a competitive game for the Gunners.
Auston Trusty refuses to be drawn on future speculation
Speaking about his future after a special MLS All Stars v Arsenal clash last week, Auston Trusty refused to be drawn on any speculation linking him with a move to Rangers.
“I’m not necessarily focused on any of that,” said Auston Trusty.
“I’m here now and I take it day by day and I’ll just go to training and do my job, and any opportunity, I’ve got to come here and do my job.
“It’s been a grind, you know? But I think no matter what, as a player, as a person throughout life, you have to back yourself and you have to back to your ability and believe in yourself.

“I did it the entire time, from Philadelphia to Colorado to now. I back myself and I believe in my play, I believe in my abilities and I believe in what I can do in the future.
“It just gets better and better, and you have to get more focused the higher you go. But it’s been awesome and it’s such a blessing. I’m so honored to be in this position.”
Auston Trusty made 48 appearances for Birmingham City last season, picking up the club’s Supporters’ Player of the Year award at the end of the season.
