Bristol City striker Tommy Conway has his heart set on the Premier League amid links to Rangers.
The Scotland youth international, 21, has also compared his game to that of Aston Villa and England striker Ollie Watkins.
Tommy Conway made headlines earlier in the season when he netted the winner against Premier League West Ham in the FA Cup third round.
Mooted for a call-up to Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad, Rangers were mentioned alongside several Premier League clubs and Old Firm rivals Celtic as potential suitors.
Tommy Conway eyes Premier League
But any Ibrox supporter who’d gotten excited at the notion Rangers could move for Tommy Conway might be disappointed by Bristol City star’s latest comments.
Currently turning out in the Championship with the Robins, the striker having come through the Academy at Ashton Gate, Conway’s dream is one day playing in the Premier League.
It comes amid links to Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English top flight.
“The Premier League is the pinnacle of world football, of league football,” Tommy Conway told Sky Sports.
“It’s the dream for players abroad, it’s the dream for players ever since you’ve been playing as a kid.
“It’s the only league that you watch so to step foot in the Premier League one day is obviously the dream.
“Hopefully that’ll happen one day with Bristol City and if not on a personal note I can make it there as well.”
Rangers to miss out on their own Ollie Watkins?
Tommy Conway has also been comparing his game to Aston Villa’s £33m striker Ollie Watkins.
The restless forward has emerged as an England international in recent seasons and is a bright, ruthless, and talented striker with a distinct style.
Whilst Conway harbours ambitions to one day turn out for Scotland, it’s the England star that the 21-year-old somewhat models his game on.

“I would probably say somebody like Ollie Watkins,” said Tommy Conway, when asked who he can compare his game to.
“He can come to feet, he always stays in between the width of the box, he can run in behind, he presses from the front and he’s a goalscorer.
“Especially under the new manager that he works under he;’s improved a hell of lot and I like to watch him whenever Aston Villa are on the tele.”
Tommy Conway has scored eight goals in 32 games for Bristol City this season, with the club 13th in the English Championship and by all accounts desperate to keep a hold of the hitman.
