Jamie Barjonas has linked up with former Rangers B team coach Kevin Thomson at Kelty Hearts in a shock transfer [Kelty Hearts Football Club].
Barjonas impressed in pre-season in 2020 but wasn’t offered an extension at Ibrox after failing to make a competitive appearance during the 2020/21 campaign itself.

The 22-year-old spent time on loan at Ayr United over the second half of the season and recently posted an emotional farewell to Rangers on Instagram.
After 14 years with the club, he was set to become a free agent and his future was unclear.
However, it hasn’t taken him long to find a new challenge, and he’ll be playing his football in Fife next season after signing a one-year deal at Kelty.

The talented midfielder will work under a familiar face in newly-appointed manager Kevin Thomson, who recently replaced Barry Ferguson at New Central Park.
It’s a considerable step down for Barjonas, who didn’t venture as low as League Two for any of his three Scottish loan stints during his time at Rangers.
Therefore, this is a real coup for Kelty, who look to be targeting promotion in their first season in SPFL.
In other news, Rangers have received a major boost concerning a 16-goal speedster.
