After a blistering start, Rangers have yet to make any further additions despite Philippe Clement being linked with numerous new players.
The Gers boss is keen to add reinforcements to his squad but, after a disappointing summer, getting the right targets is more important than just bringing players in.
Speaking to Rangers TV, Philippe Clement has reassured fans that work is going on behind the scenes to make the necessary deals with just two weeks left of the transfer window.

Rangers working hard to deliver targets for Philippe Clement
We’ve seen the excitement of Michy Batshuayi potentially strutting his stuff at Ibrox come to nothing as well as continued stories linking both Josh Doig and Lawrence Shankland with moves to Glasgow, however, it has gone a bit quiet recently.
When Fabio Silva signed before January had even started, it looked as though we were in for a busy month but only Sam Lammers heading to Utrecht has been confirmed.
Speaking to RTV though, Philippe Clement has confirmed that Rangers aren’t done in this transfer window and that attempts are being made to land other players:
“Everybody is working day and night, everybody is working really hard for that. It is not the easiest window if you don’t have the most money, so you need to be creative, you need to be fast, but everybody is working really hard.
“That is the reality in these things until there is a signature you can be at the end of the road but if you don’t have the signature, you are at the beginning of the road again of another story so we are going to keep on working hard the next couple of weeks to get our target.”
When Clement says that everyone is working overtime, you believe him.
He has an infectious work ethic that has already rubbed off on the players and you have to imagine that the recruitment staff will have been affected too.
Nils Koppen would probably have wanted a more gradual introduction to life at Auchenhowie, however, he should already have a list of possible targets waiting to go.
As long as he has two marked “striker” and “winger” then most fans will end the window happy if Philippe Clement brings ones who can score goals to Rangers.
