Aberdeen manager Neil Warnock has branded Rangers-linked Bojan Miovski as βthe bestβ striker he has ever managed.
The interim Pittodrie manager was speaking after the Macedonian striker, 24, netted a match-winning double against Bonnyrigg Rose in the Scottish Cup.
Whilst Warnock was not so enamoured about the Dons performance when he spoke during the post-match, the manager waxed lyrical about the on-form striker.
The Scottish Cup double brings Bojan Miovski to 22 goals for the season and for Neil Warnock, the striker is the best frontman heβs ever worked with.
Neil Warnock on Bojan Miovski
Bojan Miovski was going into the Scottish Cup clash having netted in back-to-back matches against first Old Firm rivals Celtic and then Rangers.
On Neil Warnockβs home debut as Aberdeen manager, the double rescued the clubβs blushes and exorcised the demons of last seasonβs defeat to lowly Darvel.
Come full-time, all the focus was on Bojan Miovski with the comments of Neil Warnock only standing to heighten the attention on the hitman.
βWhat can you say about him (Bojan Miovski)?β Neil Warnock said. βHe is just a top finisher.
βIβve always struggled with strikers if Iβm honest, all through my career.
βIβve been good at goalies and centre-halves and midfielders, but never really with a striker.
βItβs ironic isnβt it coming to this stage of my career Iβve got probably the best one Iβve ever had.β
Rangers linked to Aberdeen striker
Given the Aberdeen gig is Neil Warnockβs 19th gig in football management, this is high praised indeed for Bojan Miovski.
The comments also come amid spiralling transfer chatter surrounding the Aberdeen strikerβs future, with both Rangers and Celtic linked in the press.
Miovski himself β who is only 24 β even touched on those links in the week, namedropping both sides of the Old Firm and admitting he was βhappyβ to see them mentioned in the running.

Rangers may face a striker reshuffle in the summer with Kemar Roofe out of contract and Fabio Silvaβs loan coming to an end.
But amid talk of an Β£8m valuation for the Macedonian striker, something tells us hopes that Rangers might pounce are a tad ambitious.
Neil Warnock too has just raised the transfer status of the forward with his βbestβ ever claims.
