The Welsh international midfielder, 31, is currently searching for a new club after being released from the Italian outfit with a year left to run on his contract.
This comes after a failed six-month stint with Rangers where Ramsey struggled for fitness and eventually missed the decisive penalty in the Europa League Final.
With this being a World Cup year with his beloved Wales, the midfielder is almost certain to agree terms somewhere to maintain his fitness and Charlotte FC are one side who’ve been mentioned.
According to the Daily Mail, the MLS side are looking to give their inaugural season in the USA top flight a shot in the arm by moving for Aaron Ramsey.
But according to the report, the American club will face competition from unnamed sources in any bid to sign the midfielder.
Aaron Ramsey linked with move to Charlotte FC
Should Aaron Ramsey move to the USA, he will follow high-profile Welsh international teammate Gareth Bale, who has agreed terms with Los Angeles FC.
Following the midfielder’s release from Juventus, Aaron Ramsey took to Instagram to “focus on the positives” from his largely underwhelming stint in Turin.
“I want to focus on the positives and over all I have enjoyed my time in Torino,” said Ramsey.
“I am so grateful to the fans and Italian people who are warm, supportive and passionate and whom it’s been a pleasure to get to know over the three years. Thank you.
“I’ll never forget this experience we shared together. Good luck friends. Thank you very much.”
In total Aaron Ramsey made 13 appearances for Rangers, scoring two goals and laying on two assists but now it looks like the midfielder could be MLS bound amid interest from Charlotte FC.
Meanwhile, one crocked Rangers star was spotted amongst the bears this weekend as the Ibrox side got their league campaign underway.
