Rangers loanee and summer Bundesliga target Malik Tillman could soon be teaming up at Premier League Brighton alongside former Ibrox hero Calvin Bassey.
That’s after both players were linked with the Seagulls heading into the new season, even if they never played with each other during their respective times with Rangers.

Like ships in the night, Calvin Bassey was out breaking the Rangers transfer record by signing a £23m deal with Ajax as Malik Tillman joined in a now infamous loan-to-buy deal.
But as the summer window threatens to bust wide open both players are being linked to Brighton with a potential Mark Tillman Rangers switch growing less likely by the report.
Brighton linked to Malik Tillman and Calvin Bassey
Rangers have reportedly been compensated a cool £1m after Bayern cancelled the apparently exclusive loan-to-buy deal the Gers had on Malik Tillman.
This comes after the 20–year-old USA international enjoyed a stellar season at Ibrox last year, picking up the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award for his efforts.
Former Rangers defender Calvin Bassey didn’t fare quite so well after moving to Ajax, the left-back turned centre-back routinely the made the scapegoat of a disastrous season in Amsterdam.
Now, the player is being linked with a move to Brighton in a £15m deal which would represent a blow to Rangers given the club’s percentage-of-profit sell-on clause.

But if Brighton do conclude that deal, then Malik Tillman may not be far behind him with the German-born talent now being tipped for a move to the Premier League.
The two clubs being linked to the attacking midfielder are Brighton and Brentford and it’d be quite something to see these two popular young Rangers figures on Match of the Day next season.
Calvin Bassey and Malik Tillman might’ve taken different paths in and out of Rangers, but they could be on a collision course at Brighton by the time the Premier League kicks off.
