Rangers have struggled to score goals this season with Cyriel Dessers being the man that Philippe Clement has had to rely on.
Danilo has returned to full training and is building up his fitness with Hamza Igamane looking like he could be a valuable member of the squad over the long term.
The manager still needs more depth though and, with Lawrence Shankland approaching the end of his contract at Hearts, there is the first sign of the capital outfit accepting defeat in their efforts to keep the skipper.

Hearts consider replacement for Rangers linked Lawrence Shankland
According to The Scottish Sun, Hearts are targeting a new striker in January with the Scotland international set to be free to speak to other clubs.
Despite scoring just one goal in 18 appearances, Shankland – on a Bosman – would still be a worthwhile signing for Rangers.
His dream of playing at Ibrox could be just the motivation that he needs to rediscover his scoring touch.
What Shankland would also do, is buy Igamane more time to settle without the requirement to be the main backup.
Steven Naismith backs Shankland to come good
Speaking on BBC Scotland’s Off the Ball, Shankland has been backed to come good from the man who was his manager at the beginning of the season:
“The last two seasons, what he’s achieved is incredible itself,” said Naismith.
“It impacted us because he was our talisman. Everything that could go against him is at the moment.
“Consistently going at that level and at that rate, it was always going to be a big challenge. Players go through that.
“The one thing from knowing him and speaking to him, he’s not going to dwell on it. He will come back. He’ll score one then he’ll just start scoring again. I wouldn’t be surprised if one will go in off his shin and then he’ll be back. It happens with goal scorers all the time.”
