Ross County could swoop for former Rangers talent Ciaran Dickson following his shock Ibrox release, according to The Scottish Sun.
Dickson made his first-team debut for the Gers last season in a League Cup clash against Falkirk and was rewarded soon after with a contract extension until 2023.

Fans had high hopes for the 19-year-old midfielder, who had a stint on loan at Queen of the South during the season half of the campaign.
However, the club announced in June that he had been released, with the shock move reportedly being prompted by a lack of professionalism.
Dickson allegedly failed to turn up to training on one occasion which was the ‘beginning of the end’ for him with the Light Blues [The Athletic].

He remains a free agent, but it seems it might not stay that way for much longer.
That’s because The Scottish Sun is reporting that both Ross County and Gillingham are eyeing up swoops.
Dickson has been on trial at Burnley but hasn’t signed for the Premier League club and either the Staggies or the Gills could soon snap him up for nothing.

If it comes down to a straight choice, it will be interesting to see if Dickson opts for a shot at the Scottish top-flight or if he fancies heading south to try out the EFL.
