On the final day of the January transfer window, a former Rangers striker returned to the Premiership and Bournemouth signed an Ibrox-linked winger.
The striker in question is Zak Rudden.

Rudden came up through the age-group levels in the Rangers Academy and scored for the first team in a pre-season friendly against Bury at Ibrox in 2018.
However, after loan spells at Falkirk and Plymouth Argyle, he opted to leave the club permanently to join Partick Thistle in January 2020.
He spent two years with the Jags, helping them to promotion back to the Championship last season with seven goals in League One.
The 21-year-old has 10 goals to his name across all competitions already this season and attracted interest from multiple Premiership clubs during the transfer window.
Ex-Rangers talent joins Dundee
In the end, he chose Dundee, signing a pre-contract agreement with the Dens Park outfit on 21 January and then ending his time at Firhill by joining the Dee on loan on deadline day.
He made his debut off the bench in the Dundee Derby on Tuesday night and could face Rangers in the league next month.
Bournemouth snap up Ibrox-linked winger
Elsewhere on Deadline Day, Bournemouth announced the signing of long-term Ibrox-linked winger Siriki Dembele from Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.
Back in December 2020, Peterborough sporting director Barry Fry claimed that Rangers had been scouting Dembele [Peterborough Telegraph] and rumours persisted, with the Daily Record crediting the Gers with interest once again in October 2021.
It was always suggested that a number of other clubs were also keen on the 25-year-old, though, and the Cherries won the race in the end.
Dembele signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Vitality Stadium and it’ll be interesting to see how he handles the transition from Championship relegation scrap to promotion push.
Meanwhile, a Rangers star has been snapped back in training with a return to action possible against Celtic.
