Former Rangers star Andy Halliday is reportedly closing in on a move to Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell.
The Hearts star, 32, has seen chances limited at Tynecastle this season, making just three top flight appearances for the Jambos in this campaign.
Now, it appears Andy Halliday’s three-and-a-half years in Edinburgh is set to come to an end with Motherwell offering the midfielder increased top flight exposure.
After widespread reporting suggested Hearts had given Motherwell permission to speak to Andy Halliday, the likes of Pete O’Rourke have confirmed the ex-Rangers star is set to complete the switch.

It means that Rangers fans are likely to see their team face off against the former midfielder at least once this season.
The Gers face Motherwell at Ibrox on the 2nd of March in the Scottish Premiership, with a fourth and final league clash between the two sides dependent on Motherwell’s finish in the league table.
The Steelmen are currently 9th in the Scottish top flight and interestingly Andy Halliday looks to be trading a hunt for European football for a potential relegation battle.
Motherwell are eight points clear of Livingston – who are are rooked to the bottom of the Premiership – but only two points above Ross County in 11th, who have two games in hand on them.
St Johnstone currently occupy 10th place, a point behind Motherwell, but also have a game in hand against the Lanarkshire side, albeit against Rangers at Ibrox.
But with Motherwell also just five points off the top six, Andy Halliday will have ambitions of helping Stuart Kettlewell’s Motherwell team into the top six.
