Exciting new signing Charlie McCann has waxed lyrical about Rangers after moving from Man United on a permanent deal.
McCann joined United in 2018 from Coventry City and became a regular in the Red Devils’ U23 side, for whom he scored five goals last season.

However, with no route to the first team presenting itself and only a year left on his deal at Old Trafford, he jumped at the chance to join the Gers.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
The versatile 19-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract with the transfer worth a reported £750,000 [Manchester Evening News] and he’ll initially turn out for the club’s B team with a view to eventually stepping up to the first-team squad.
McCann may be moving from a world-leading club, but he’s still been blown away by the facilities on offer and the quality of the staff at Rangers.
“I’m delighted to get the move over the line, I was obviously really excited when I heard the news and I knew that it was a no brainer,” he said [Rangers.co.uk]. “I can’t wait to get started now and I’m looking forward to it.”
“It’s just unreal [Ibrox] it’s such a great experience and I can’t wait to see what it will be like when there is a full house of fans!
“The training centre is immaculate and state of the art. You couldn’t ask for a much better facility so to be here every day with the best people is just going to be great, I can’t wait to get started working with everyone – It’s a great opportunity to further your development and try and get yourself to that next level.”
The Republic of Ireland youth international also took to Twitter to acknowledge the move, tweeting a photo of him posing beside the Rangers crest at the Training Centre, captioned: “Excited to sign for such a huge and historic club, thanks to all @RangersFC for giving me this opportunity, can’t wait to get started.”

McCann certainly seems delighted to be a Ger and Bears are similarly pleased that their club managed to snap up such an exciting young talent.
Many flocked to his tweet, which by the time of writing had over 6k likes, hundreds of retweets and scores of comments from supporters welcoming him to Rangers.
Here’s a selection of reactions:
