The Daily Record reports Glenn Middleton will join Doncaster Rovers on a season-long loan deal.
The report emerged after the winger sparked speculation with his social media activity on Wednesday afternoon.
It seems 19-year-old Middleton is heading away from Ibrox in search of regular senior football.
He played regularly for the senior team across the first half of last season.
However, he barely featured after the turn of the year, as Ryan Kent and Daniel Candeias nailed down starting spots.
Three substitute appearances are all he has to show for his 2019 at senior level. But, he’s likely to receive much more exposure in League One.
Donny are an ambitious side who reached the playoffs under the guidance of blue nose manager, Grant McCann, in the season just past.
At just 19, Middleton has bags of pace and the potential to eventually become an important player at Ibrox.
He’s already demonstrated an appetite for the big occasion by scoring away at Spartak Moscow in the Europa League group stage back in November.
It seems his displays in a Rangers shirt have been enough to get Doncaster fans excited, too. Plenty are buzzing about his potential signing:
