It’s fair to say that Rangers fans have seen the last of Danilo as he looks set to leave Ibrox this summer.
Danilo did not even travel to Spain, where the rest of his teammates are for their pre-season training camp.
That is because he has been allowed by the club to stay back and sort out his future, rather than play and risk an injury.
Also, Derek McInnes has no plans to keep him at Rangers, so it makes little sense to include him in his pre-season plans.
What changes would you like to see at Ibrox?
The money is there to be spent!
Botafogo in advanced talks to sign Rangers striker Danilo
Botafogo have entered advanced talks with Danilo as he appears set to leave the Light Blues on loan with an option to buy, according to ESPN.
Rangers have opened the door for his exit as they are preparing for life without him over the short and long term.
The loan agreement will last until June 2027, which is the end of the upcoming campaign.
What is your reaction to the new third kit?
It's fair to say a lot of Rangers fans have hated it…
The 27-year-old is open to joining the Brazilian club and would be keen on joining them permanently once his loan is over.
Last season, he was on loan at NEC Nijmegen, but they did not make the decision to sign him on a permanent basis.
The Gers are not expecting him to return to Ibrox and are hoping that they can get as much money as they possibly can.

Why Danilo’s transfer situation is currently complicated
Botafogo are in a secure position from a financial standpoint to complete the signing of Danilo on loan with an option to buy.
However, what complicates the deal is the fact that there are two active transfer bans imposed on the Brazilian club.
They hope that the ban can be lifted in order to complete this deal.
What are your expectations from Jens Hjerto-Dahl at Rangers?
Rangers appear to be closing in on his signing!
Danilo is not the only player they are close to signing, as things are moving forward with multiple players.
There have been three transfer bans already lifted by FIFA, but a few issues still remain.
One of those is a debt-related ban imposed due to the signing of Jordan Barrera, as well as a sanction levied due to the failure to pay administrative fines to the organisation.
