Rangers search for a new winger is one that Philippe Clement must be growing frustrated with in a position where he desperately needs better players.
Oscar Cortes returning is a bonus and there remains positivity over Abdallah Sima potentially coming back to Ibrox to strut his stuff, however, the squad is still woefully short of cover and quality in the wide areas.
A name who emerged recently is Couhaib Driouech with the Moroccan winger attracting interest from across Europe as Excelsior look to cash in and ease their money troubles.

Rangers set to lose out on winger Couhaib Driouech
Former SFA development guru and Under-21 manager Mark Wotte is a fan and his comments would have excited Rangers fans:
“There will be plenty of competition, but if Rangers can sign Driouech, they will enjoy him. He is a talented lad. He would fit in well in Scottish football.
“He would be a similar type of player for Rangers as James Forrest was for Celtic.
“He is a winger who can play both inside and outside, is quick, strong, agile and plays with guts. He is a good dribbler and could be a good signing for Rangers.”
Exactly what Rangers need.
Rangers not yet able to land any of their winger targets
Adama Traore looked to be on his way as a goalscoring right winger but a move for the Ferencvaros forward has gone quiet.
Then there was Yusuf Kabadayi, the Germany youth international who well-known Rangers sources were convinced was signing on the dotted line only for him to stay in the Bundesliga.
Frustratingly, it looks like Rangers ability to spot a player remains better than their ability to persuade them to come to the SPFL.
With a similar profile to Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Driouech has huge potential but his future appears to be in the Eredivisie after PSV Eindhoven journalist Rik Elfrink reported that the 22-year old is set for talks with PSV Eindhoven in a £3m deal.

This is the problem that Rangers are facing this summer.
The only player who Rangers have missed out on, and it hasn’t made sense is Jose Cordoba, even then, the lure of the Premier League is a strong one.
Better leagues and clubs who can offer more money will always be the biggest obstacles to Koppen trying to persuade potential targets to sign.
The profile of those who have been linked so far is encouraging though and it will be hoped that the recruitment director can bring extra firepower to the squad before the serious business starts.
Unfortunately, it looks like Driouech is going to be the latest talent to slip through Rangers fingers.
