Rangers transfer window has erupted into a hive of activity with a revolving door set to kick start the rebuild.
Philippe Clement needs something positive as do the fans who are sick of watching the current squad lurch from one game to the next, add this to not knowing when Ibrox will be ready, and it is the summer of discontent.
Todd Cantwell has handed in a transfer request, Sam Lammers is close to leaving for Twente but the latest news will have the biggest impact on the starting XI.

Connor Goldson nears Rangers exit
With over 300 appearances in six seasons, Connor Goldson has been a near ever present for Rangers, however, it now appears as if his days at the club are numbered.
Speaking ahead of the dismal friendly match against Birmingham City, the manager confirmed that the vice-captain has a decision to make.
When asked, after recently speculation linking him with a move to Aris Limassol, if Goldson was on his way to the Mediterranean island, he said:
“No, he is not in Cyprus.
“He was with us this afternoon so it was the idea to play with Connor and start like that but there is now concrete interest for him, and I allowed him to travel back to have these talks. It’s not too far away.”
Speaking earlier in the day, Heart and Hand confirmed that there are clubs monitoring Goldson’s situation and that a valuation had been set:
“Now you may have seen Connor Goldson was in the squad and is with the squad for tonight’s match with Birmingham, but he had, of course, been out to Cyprus over the weekend for talks with Aris.
“The talks have not been concluded in terms of a deal has not been struck and he does have other offers as well with three clubs said to have made a serious approach for Connor Goldson.
“It’s not 100% confirmed but I think that Rangers are looking for around £1m given his age and his contract.”
Rangers set to free up one of the biggest wages on the books
The biggest thing with £3m signing Goldson is his whopping £37,000 per week salary.
If you get that off the wage bill, it could free up space for two players.
For example, Rangers have offered in the region of £27,000 to borrow Joan Jordan for a year which means that there is plenty of room to bring in another player somewhere else too.
Or, it allows Nils Koppen to bring the wage bill down with Clinton Nsiala already in the door.
The 20-year old French defender struggled during the first-half against Birmingham but grew into the game once he settled down.
It’s easy to forget that this is his first taste of senior football but there will be more players like him in the coming years.
Rangers recruitment is going through a reset this summer, out with the old, and in with the young.
