Rangers are hard at work trying to add new signings before this week’s Champions League registration deadline.
The Gers have until close of play tomorrow to submit a squad for QR3 of the competition with Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev most likely lying in wait.
Philippe Clement knows that the the Blue & Whites of Kiev will be a stern test and that Rangers will need all the reinforcements they can get to progress to the Playoff.
But there is some conjecture surrounding the potential signing of one Dutch star as another jets into the UK for a medical.

Rangers close in on Dutch defender
Rangers are closing in on a deal for Dutch defender Robin Pröpper following the exit of Connor Goldson from Ibrox.
The FC Twente captain, 30, looks set to join three former footballing associates at Rangers in a deal which reports claim could reach up to £2.7m.
All that’s left to be done is a medical with Chris Jack claiming that the centre-back is in the UK and could be part of Clement’s squad for the Premiership opener against Hearts.
There now appears little doubt that Pröpper will also be part of the team that is gearing up for Champions League QR3.
But there is another name from Dutch football doing the rounds which has been the subject of some conflicting reports on these shores.
Rangers tinkle Marco Van Ginkel
Rangers fans might remember Marco van Ginkel from his days at Chelsea, where the once hotly tipped Dutch midfielder suffered devastating injury problems.
But with those issues well behind him, Van Ginkel finds himself a free agent after leaving cash-strapped Vitesse Arnhem at the end of last season.
Rumours spread online that Rangers could be interested in the midfielder – stemming from a seemingly innocuous follow from the Four Lads Had a Dream Instagram account – and now the story has been kicked up the journalistic chain.
The only thing is that two rival outlets are making very different claims when it comes to Rangers’ apparent interest in the 31-year-old former Dutch international.
Rangers Review journalist Jonny McFarlane risked the wrath of supporters by claiming that he’d been told Van Ginkel wouldn’t be moving to Ibrox.
But Scottish Sun journalist Andy Devlin has got Rangers fans talking by claiming that a deal to bring Marco van Ginkel to Scotland isn’t completely off the table.
Claiming that Rangers hope to announce Robin Pröpper tomorrow, Devlin has also touched on Marco van Ginkel.
“Another player who is certainly on Rangers’ radar is the former Chelsea midfielder Marco Van Ginkel,” said Devlin.
“There is a bit of work to be done there. It remains to be seen if the player can be enticed to Glasgow.”
Devlin added: “He’s another player who is known to Clement and Koppen.”
Rangers have already struck deals to sign eight players this summer, with Mohamed Diomande, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Connor Barron, Oscar Cortes, Liam Kelly, and Hamza Igamane most recently joined by Vaclav Cerny.
