Old Firm rivals Celtic could be about to make an offer for Rangers-linked Fenerbahce star Bright Osayi-Samuel after extensive reports surrounding a potential move to Ibrox this summer.

Both Glasgow giants were said to be monitoring the ex-QPR star as his contract ran down at Loftus Road prior to the move to Turkey in January.

Fotospor claim that Rangers, Celtic and Championship Fulham are all interested in the player, who scored once and laid on another in 19 games for the Istanbul side last season.

Whilst the report insists there has been no offer for the player, it claims it is expecting some movement from these three clubs in the transfer window.

If this is not achieved, then the report reiterates that Fenerbahce may use Bright Osayi-Samuel, 23, as a makeweight in a deal for Monaco’s Henry Onyekuru, who played for Galatasaray on loan last season.

Whilst reports earlier in pre-season suggested that a Rangers bid was imminent this has not yet come to pass.

The latest valuation of the right winger has also claimed that it could take as much as €5m (£4.3m) to sign the player from Fenerbahce [Hurriyet].

It’s the latest twist in a summer of them surrounding Bright Osayi-Samuel with that spot on the right-hand side of the attack perhaps an area Rangers could improve this summer.

Rangers have consistently reiterated the need for quality additions and there’s little doubt this talented forward could prove to be a solid investment for the Gers.

The Ibrox side have already made four signings this summer with a report detailing just how many more they will look to add before the end of the window.
