A Belgian journalist has dropped a teaser regarding Rangers and Nicolas Raskin as the Standard Liege star reportedly closes in on an Ibrox switch.
Rangers have been repeatedly linked with a move for Nicolas Raskin since the summer and are said to have come close to the player’s signing before a transfer collapsed in the closing moments of the window.

This was after Glen Kamara’s proposed move to OGC Nice also fell apart after initially looking likely as the summer rolled to a close.
Out-of-contract at Standard Liege in the summer, the 21-year-old Belgian U21 international has been banished to the reserves in recent weeks amid a fierce contract stand-off in Belgium.
But if reports are to be believed, Nicolas Raskin is soon to be Rangers bound in what is a potentially exciting move for the club and the Ibrox support.
Rangers close in Nicolas Raskin
At least this is according to the latest reports coming out of Belgium, with self-proclaimed “media personality” Sacha Tavolieri making the claim on his official Twitter account.
According to the journalist, Rangers are in “advanced discussions” with the player and there is “concrete interest” with more details to come “in the next few days”.
The journalist would then later drop a two-emoji hint to supporters on Twitter, replying to a Standard Liege fan page with a wink and an egg-timer.
If a deal for midfielder Nicolas Raskin goes through, expect it to be warmly received by Rangers supporters who’ve been crying out for reinforcements in the position for several windows.
And just like London buses, you wait so long for one then two appear to come along at once.
