Todd Cantwell is poised for a medical at Rangers which will see him become the first signing of the Michael Beale era at Ibrox.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who believe that the Norwich City midfielder has now agreed terms on a deal with Rangers also agreeing terms with Norwich City.

The signing comes amid much speculation over the course of the last few weeks and several soundbites from Beale, who has talked up Todd Cantwell repeatedly even before reports of a medical.
Rangers fans had begun to get antsy regarding the club’s January business with the Ibrox squad visibly in need of reinforcements and the window entering its final two weeks.
But now the latest suggests Todd Cantwell is days from signing for the club and Rangers fans will be pleased to see the 24-year-old join the ranks of the Gers.

Incoming Norwich manager David Wagner has also encouraged Todd Cantwell to get a move elsewhere in order it reignite his career and a Rangers medical now reportedly beckons.
Rangers don’t seem to be done their this January either; the Sky Sports report claims that the club are “weighing up several other options” in this winter’s transfer market.
This includes the likes of Morgan Whittaker, the Swansea winger having been subject of much conjecture in the last few days.
