Rangers have been linked with moves for Motherwell duo Elijah Just and Elliot Watt this summer.

The Light Blues are expected to make several new signings in the coming months, with Danny Rohl set to be backed financially by the owners.

They have already brought Lawrence Shankland to Ibrox from Hearts, but that is only the start of what is expected to be an extremely busy transfer window.

Which of these strikers are Rangers expected to sell?

Lawrence Shankland's arrival will surely change things!

Alan Hutton backs Rangers to sign Elijah Just and Elliot Watt

Alan Hutton, a BBC pundit, has backed his former side to secure the services of the Motherwell duo this summer.

Speaking on Premier Sport’s YouTube channel, he was asked which players he would like to bring to Ibrox.

Motherwell then came into the conversation, as they have a number of talented players, some of whom are linked with clubs in Scotland.

Which midfielder can make Rangers title winners?

Danny Rohl is looking to sign at least one…

Without any hesitation, Hutton said that he would love to see Watt, a midfielder, at Rangers ahead of next season.

He was then asked about the interest in Just, a winger, to which he responded that he would be happy to see him join as well.

The ex-Gers right-back said: “I’d go and get Watt.

“I’d happily take him [Elijah Just] as well.

“There are a number of players there that have been absolute quality.”

What are Rangers’ chances of signing Watt and Just?

Jens Berthel Askou leaving Motherwell to join Toulouse means that a number of players could also look to follow the manager out the door.

Both Watt and Just would have likely stayed rather than left had Askou still been at the Scottish club.

However, now Motherwell are likely to listen to offers for both of them and decide on their futures when bids arrive.

How long will Danny Rohl be at Rangers?

Rangers will have to pay £3m to sign Watt, who is also on the radar of Celtic and Cardiff City.

For Just, it’s understood that there are a lot more clubs looking to secure his services.

Given his agent’s recent comments, it is clear that the New Zealand international is also considering his options and will decide on his future after the World Cup.

Unfortunately for the Light Blues, Celtic currently hold the upper hand over them in the transfer chase.
