Barry Ferguson has been keeping tabs on all the transfer developments surrounding Rangers.
The former Light Blues manager was undoubtedly disappointed with how the season panned out following the split.
However, he is optimistic about the future, but is aware that the club need to make quality signings in the coming months.

Barry Ferguson backs Rangers decision not to re-sign Andreas Skov Olsen
Barry Ferguson believes that Rangers made the right decision not to exercise the option to buy Andreas Skov Olsen permanently.
The Gers signed the Denmark international on loan from Wolfsburg in the January transfer window, hoping he would bring firepower in the final third that would help them win the Scottish Premiership title.
The fee agreed between the two sides was £9m, which seemed steep at the time, but he had been a long-term target at Ibrox.
How long will Danny Rohl be at Rangers?
Andrew Cavenagh has confirmed he will not be sacked ahead of the new season…
However, Skov Olsen struggled at Rangers, and Rohl saw enough to decide that he did not want the winger at the club next season.
Ferguson, too, echoes the manager’s sentiments, stating that despite his big reputation, he failed to adapt to the Scottish game.
He reveals that he was not surprised when he heard that the club did not want to sign him permanently, and hopes that the board have learnt their lessons for future transfers.
Ferguson wrote: “Like many players from my own time who came into the squad with big reputations, Skov clearly struggled to adjust to the Scottish game in general and to the environment at Rangers in particular.
“Put it this way, it’s no surprise that the deal will not now be pushed through. But that’s another massive lesson for the chairman and his board.
“Not everyone is cut out to be a Rangers player, no matter how good they might look with a ball at their feet. Sometimes it’s almost more important what’s in the heart and in the head.”

What did the stats say about Skov Olsen’s time at Rangers?
Skov Olsen was signed to be a first-team regular, but made just nine league appearances since his move in January.
In those nine games, the 26-year-old managed to score just one league goal and provided three assists.
He also played two games in the Scottish Cup, but failed to have any goal involvements in that competition.
Rohl deployed him primarily on the right, but he struggled to make an impact – sending a message to the recruitment team that they need to bring in someone capable of holding the width.
