Alfredo Morelos’ Rangers exit to FC Porto is now “close at hand” according to a leading Portuguese paper that has followed the entire story.
A Bola have been at the centre of the claims that Porto want to sign the Colombian striker as a replacement for Moussa Marega, who has moved to Saudi Arabia.

In their latest coverage of the story, the Portuguese outlet are claiming that the Morelos deal is edging closer by the day as they slap an increased price on the forward.
Titled “Morelos closer and closer” the story once again reiterates claims that Morelos’ agent Michael Gorman has travelled to Portugal to discuss terms with the club.
According to the report, the dialogue with Gorman has brought the two sides closer together with the transfer now “close at hand”.
However, A Bola claim that Porto’s “priority” is now selling one of their players in order to fund the Morelos deal.
The Portuguese outlet claim “there is talk” of a £10.3m (€12m) deal which could rise to £14.6m (€17m) in add-ons.
This would less than the £16.25m Rangers reportedly rejected from Lille last season for Morelos and substantially less than the £20m the Colombian is routinely valued at.

This story just isn’t going away and Rangers fans are well used to exit reports surrounding Morelos by now, but it’s not clear just how serious Porto are about meeting Rangers’ demands.
When it comes to selling players too, Steven Gerrard’s former side Liverpool could provide the funds for the transfer by splashing a reported £34m on a key Porto first-teamer.
