Alfredo Morelos and Glen Kamara being absent from Rangers the squad yesterday got tongues wagging until Michael Beale put the record straight.
The Gers gaffer is set to have a busy summer and, getting rid of players who don’t want to be playing at Ibrox next season might be his biggest task.

Speaking to BBC Scotland after the game, Michael Beale explained the late injury crisis that saw Alfredo Morelos and Glen Kamara be late call offs:
“We lost Morelos and Kamara in training on Saturday, Scott Wright overnight and Rabbi Matondo in the warm up.
“We had to put two goalkeepers on the bench and a lot of the B team but the mentality of the starting team was fantastic.”
MORE RANGERS STORIES
At this stage of the season, given what has gone before, the last thing that Rangers fans want to see is good players who have contributed nothing being allowed game time.
Glen Kamara, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent all fall in to that category for Rangers.
Previously key players now biding their time until they leave for somewhere else.
They won’t be the first or last players to think that the grass is greener on the other side only to realise that it isn’t.
Mysterious injuries always seem to pop up at this time of year and when players are distracted by what they might be doing in the summer.
This is even more prevalent when there is nothing to play for other than pride.

Morelos and Kent are almost understandable but Kamara, who has a long-term contract – is a strange one, even if he is tipped to leave this summer.
Michael Beale spoke about how much he appreciates the Finland international, and yet, he was quick to jettison the 27-year old when he realised that his form was miles away from acceptable.
Three players who should all still be main men for Rangers but who now find themselves out of favour and out in the cold, the reception for them at Ibrox won’t be any warmer for them either.
