Rangers take on Celtic on Sunday in the final Old Firm of the season.
As always it will be a big occasion for all concerned, but it could also have ramifications in the quest to sign an international defender.

According to the Daily Record, 44-cap Mozambique centre-back, Edson Mexer, has been invited to Ibrox to sample the Glasgow derby.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has been pictured with Steven Gerrard, as rumours of a switch to Rangers intensify.
He currently plies his trade for Rennes in Ligue 1. However, due to suspension, he’s unavailable for their weekend fixture against Guingamp.
Therefore, Gerrard is hoping to use the opportunity to show Mexer what he could be involved in next season.
The report claims the player’s representative, Laurent Schmidtt is in London and could travel up to meet his client in Glasgow.

Verdict
There can be no better game to sample for a prospective signing, than an Old Firm at Ibrox.
Surely, after witnessing the atmosphere in the flesh, Mexer will want to put pen to paper.
It’s a win-win situation, though. If he watches on and doesn’t fancy it, then he’s not the kind of player the club should be bringing in.
Regardless, if he does show, hopefully, he’ll see Ibrox bouncing in celebration of a second consecutive home Old Firm win.
Here’s our predicted XI for the weekend.
