Sunday’s Old Firm with Celtic is one of Rangers final chances to end this season on a high.
Not that it has been a campaign completely devoid of them.
The highlight of this season has got to be the inspiring Europa League run. Followed by the win over Celtic at Ibrox in December.

But a lack of real consistency in domestic competition has really hurt us this season. It’s hurt the fans, it’s hurt Steven Gerrard, and if they are to make it at Rangers, it has to have hurt the players.
On home soil, it hasn’t been good enough. But that doesn’t mean it has always been bad. Rangers, for the first time in a long time, now really look to be building a team and squad which can mount an assault on the domestic scene here.
But we simply must break our Old Firm rival’s dominance next season. Over the piece, Gerrard’s side has not managed to put up enough of a fight to do it this time around.
Going into this game we’ve won five on the bounce. We look a really fluid, organised, direct outfit. Rangers are playing well.
This is our chance to lay down a marker going into next year. It’s also several player’s chance to show they are up for the fight. This is a big opportunity for Rangers to signal our intent.

Going into the match there are a few selection dilemmas, or at least talk of them. But the truth is Gerrard must keep consistency in his line up if he wants to see consistency on the pitch.
Forget the talk of Jermain Defoe or Alfredo Morelos, of Nikola Katic or Joe Worrall. Here’s how Rangers must lineup in Sunday’s Old Firm.
