Charlie Adam has confirmed that he will leave Stoke City at the end of the season.
The former Ger has spent the past seven years with the now Championship side, after switching from Liverpool.

However, he’s become more of a bit part player this season and so, will depart come the end of the season.
“I’m ready for a fresh challenge and to be back playing regularly again at the highest level,” wrote Adam on Twitter.
“I have a number of opportunities and am now looking forward to the next chapter of my career.”
Could an Ibrox return be on the cards?
The 33-year-old admitted back in January, that he would consider a move back to the Gers, to whom he was contracted between 2003 and 2009.
“The Rangers thing is something that would interest me,” said Adam, as quoted by the Daily Mail. “Absolutely.”
Adam is certainly a proven performer, too.
He’s spent much of the last decade playing in the Premier League and has 26 caps for Scotland.

Yet, it can’t be a good sign that he’s struggled for game time this season. Furthermore, he’s no spring chicken and surely central midfield is the one area Rangers already have covered.
There’s already an abundance of options in the middle, with Jordan Rossiter and Greg Docherty soon set to return from their respective loan spells.

It’s at centre-back and in the final third, where Gerrard should be focusing his attention this summer.
