Rangers star Joe Aribo believes even more impressive outings are on the horizon following a breakthrough few weeks in an advanced role.
The 23-year-old joined the Gers from Charlton in the summer and impressed during the Europa League qualifiers in a central midfield role.

However, his influence waned for a spell and a relative struggle for playing time prompted the manager to try him out in the problematic forward right role. Over the last few weeks, he’s looked increasingly likely to make it his own.
“It’s fair to say my form dipped for a period recently,” said Aribo. “I knew myself I hadn’t been performing to the level I know I’m capable of achieving.”
“The manager said that to me, that it was inevitable because I was away from home for the first time. The biggest thing I needed to help me push on was knowing I had the backing of my manager. That chat has helped me to move forward and now I am reaping the rewards.
“I don’t want to talk too highly of myself. As the season goes on, people can judge me. However, I would say there is more to come.”

Verdict
Rangers fans should be excited by Aribo’s prediction, with two important fixtures remaining before the winter break.
The Gers host Killie on Boxing Day before travelling to Parkhead on the 29th, with two victories required to see the Gers end the year on a high.
Given his recent impressive form, it’s likely that Aribo will start both of those matches.
After looking lively against Young Boys and Motherwell, he really came to the fore against Hibs on Friday evening. Supporters lauded his display on social media after he forced the error from Ofir Marciano which led to Ryan Kent’s opener, before netting a fine goal of his own just moments later.
There’s no doubt Aribo has stacks of ability and while he’s still raw, he’s a big asset for this Rangers side.
