Salty Celtic fans melt down as Rangers slap down Parkhead ticket games

Rangers are reportedly set to give Celtic a taste of their own medicine and utilise the Covid red zone inside Ibrox to lock the Parkhead club’s fans out of their upcoming clash.

The Gers are set to face off against their eternal rivals in Govan next weekend in a hotly-anticipated derby clash which will be the first in front of fans for over a year.

Celtic were hoping to have some of their own supporters back in the ground for the away trip to Rangers but according to the Daily Record, those hopes have been dashed.

That report is also claiming that the Gers performed a U-turn after initially agreeing to give the Parkhead club 700 briefs for the match.

The reason? The Gers couldn’t get assurances from their Old Firm rivals about offering the same in kind with the Parkhead side developing a penchant for locking out rival supporters.

Celtic have refused to give tickets to both Hearts and St Mirren, citing the need for a Covid red zone inside the stadium which covers the traditional away area.

If they don’t want to be accommodating to away supporters then it’s no surprise that they’ll be knocked back when they try to take their show on the road.

It’s pretty hilarious seeing all the inevitable meltdowns over the situation but given Celtic’s reluctance, can anyone really blame Rangers?

You can’t have your cake and eat it.

There’s nothing quite like salty Celtic fans bleating into the void and here’s a selection of some of the most butt-hurt, enjoy:

Seriously, how is it not registering that their club is actively locking supporters out under the guise of Covid-19 protocols?

Add the Ibrox lock-out to the bingo card should the Gers win the day alongside dodgy handshakes and Alfredo Morelos’ life-threatening celebrations.

Send on the Old Firm – there’s nothing quite like a full Ibrox on derby day in Glasgow!

Meanwhile, Rangers fans have had a few choice words of their own after our rivals jumped on a botched Ibrox move against Alashkert this week.
