Rangers star Malik Tillman scored a worldie in the win over Motherwell but it’s for another piece of skill in the match the Bayern Munich loanee has gone viral.

The 20-year-old USA international has shown flashes of his quality even if he has been inconsistent so far at Rangers but the German-born star was inspired at Fir Park.

Racing through the Motherwell defence from his own half, Malik Tillman netted the opening goal in a 2-1 win for Rangers as the club bounced back from midweek disappointment v Liverpool.

But there is another moment from the match which has turned heads as a clip of the twice-capped USA staR nutmegging a Motherwell player with a roulette back-heel spin goes viral.

One fan branded Tillman “filthy” for the moment as the Bayern loanee nutmegged Motherwell number 8 Callum Slattery with an astonishing piece of skill.

The ball might’ve been lucky to roll to Scott Arfield in the aftermath but if anything, it shows the confidence which is building in the player.

Speaking after the Motherwell game, a modest Malik Tillman shifted the focus onto the Rangers team but admitted the wonderstrike earlier the match delivered a much-needed confidence boost.

“It is nice to help the team to get the win, the team always comes first,” said Tillman [Sky Sports].

“The last few weeks were a bit tough, we didn’t win in the Champions League but yeah I think it’s an extreme boost for me we’ve got to keep looking forward and hope we win the next few games as well.”
