Rangers fans are surely growing fond of Andrew Cavenagh, who has been the Chairman for nearly a year.
Cavenagh and his consortium, along with the 49ers Enterprises, completed the takeover of the Gers in May 2025.
Since then, Rangers have spent £40m on new players, and are expected to have another big transfer window.

Andrew Cavenagh attends St Mirren clash at Paisley
Unlike previous board members, Cavenagh is actually going above and beyond to connect with the Rangers fans.
Despite it being a cold and wet day in Paisley, he made it a point to travel to watch the Gers take on St Mirren.
The mood was lifted as the Light Blues won 1-0 and continued their fight to win their 56th Scottish Premiership title.
Cavenagh was pictured in the away end and Rangers News understands that he interacted with the fans who addressed some of their concerns to him.
The American has visited Ibrox regularly as well and, after Paraag Marathe’s departure, has assumed a more hands-on role at the club.

How Cavenagh has shown he’s the right man to take Rangers forward
It wasn’t an easy job to walk into, as the supporters’ trust in the hierarchy seemed to be fragile, to say the least.
However, Cavenagh arrived by saying the right things and making promises, which so far, he has lived up to.
Spending that kind of money in the first year instead of hiding behind excuses like the poor financial state of the club suggests that he is here for the long term, and he plans on making Rangers a successful club again.

Cavenagh and his consortium injected £20m to address the immediate needs behind the scenes right after they completed the takeover.
He also moved swiftly to remove Patrick Stewart and Kevin Thelwell from their roles, sending a message right across the club that underperforming candidates have no place at Ibrox.
Russell Martin was also sacked under the American’s watch, who has since made a number of quality behind-the-scenes appointments.
Fans will be hoping that things continue to happen in the way they have been and that the Light Blues become title winners again.
