Lennon Miller is the talk of the Scottish footballing steamie at the moment with deamd growing around the Rangers-linked teenager.
The Motherwell talent might only be 17-years-old but he’s already got a year’s first-team footballing experience under his belt with teams from across the UK keeping a close eye.
Motherwell have shown a dedication to bleeding young players in recent years with Lennon Miller the latest off the Steelmen’s production line.
Rangers are said to have watched Miller earlier in pre-season and Nils Koppen has been clear that the Gers will look to snap up the brightest talent in Scotland.
But it’s not something which is affecting this mature young midfielder who claims he’s completely focused on doing what he loves; playing football.

Miller responds to Rangers links
Lennon Miller is not letting the Rangers speculation affect him as he prepares for a new season with Motherwell.
“When you are doing well at a young age then you are obviously going to get speculation, but for me, it’s just about focusing on a Saturday or any game that we play and doing the best I can,” Miller told Glasgow World.
Rangers have been warned that it will take big money to sign Lennon Miller from Motherwell by manager Stuart Kettlewell.
The Lanarkshire club have already struck a solid deal for the sale of Theo Bair to Auxerre and it’s clear the Scottish Premiership side will not be selling Miller on the cheap.
The midfielder himself has also been talking about the impact of Motherwell manager Kettlewell, who has entrusted him with a starting berth in the club’s midfield.
“(Stuart Kettlewell) has been massive for me,” said Miller. “He played me all last season and played me in the middle of the park at such a young age.
“He has to show great faith in me, and thankfully he has done that. I feel like I’m growing with every game.”
Rangers target in bold goals pledge
With Miller feeling like he’s growing with every game, the midfielder claims he is ready to take a big step forward this season, quite literally.
With the Motherwell star feeling more confident and mature in the middle of the park, Lennon Miller has also been tasked with scoring more goals from midfield.
Rangers fans have a close eye on what happens to the kid, who scored from the penalty spot as Motherwell defeated Clyde 3-1 in the League Cup this week.
“Last season, I was probably kind of tentative like a wee boy, but I feel like this season I have kind of grown up and I have got the leadership skills,” said Miller.
“It can be hard to show that as a young boy coming into the first team, it’s tough because there are so many experienced players there and you are a young boy.
“But they all respect the young boys, and as a young boy you need to help them as well as them helping you.
“Playing a little bit further forward against Clyde, I should probably have scored more than the one, but that will come during the season hopefully.
“I was playing as a six most of last year and I wasn’t hitting the box when I probably could have, I was probably playing more reserved.
“This year it’s just about going into the box and trying to get goals and assists, and helping the team that way.”
Lennon Miller made 32 appearances for Motherwell last season, scoring once and laying on four assists.
