Rangers striker Florian Kamberi hasn’t done much wrong since he joined the Ibrox club on deadline day in the January transfer window.

Well, not as far as Rangers are concerned anyway.

The Swiss/Albanian striker appeared to burn his bridges with the Hibs supporters [Rangers] as he joined Rangers on-loan in January.

But there’s a fracas at Ibrox which could hand him a real opportunity against Hamilton on Wednesday night.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is currently undergoing in-house disciplinary proceedings for showing up late to training last week.

Steven Gerrard revealed that the striker was given leave to visit his ill mother in Colombia [Daily Record], despite being suspended for the Europa League tie away to Braga.

Morelos then showed up a day late to training and the situation was obviously serious as Gerrard then dropped him for the Scottish Cup defeat to Hearts.

That means it remains up-in-the-air whether or not Morelos will be recalled to action this Wednesday night at Ibrox.

With Jermain Defoe only just returning from a calf injury, it’s unlikely we’ll see the veteran striker on the field come Wednesday night.

Does that mean there will be an opportunity for Florian Kamberi to leave an impression against the Accies with a first start in front of the Ibrox crowd?
