Rangers have officially signed Swiss/Albanian striker Florian Kamberi after an exciting transfer deadline day at Ibrox.
The talented Hibs striker joined Rangers on loan with Ibrox midfielder Greg Docherty going in the opposite direction.
The move was expected to go through yesterday [Herald] and Rangers eventually took to their official channels to make the announcement last night.
Former Grasshopper Zurich forward Kamberi also wasted no time in burning bridges with parent club Hibs as he talked up the Ibrox side.
Rangers are not exactly the most popular club in Leith and the Hibs support were beelin’ when the news first broke of Steven Gerrard’s interest in the striker.
Kamberi himself indirectly twisted the knife when he revealed that ever since playing at Ibrox, he wanted a move to Rangers.

“For me, Ibrox is the best atmosphere I have ever played in,” said Kamberi [Rangers].
“My second game for Hibs was against Rangers at Ibrox and after the game, I told my agent immediately my dream would be to play in this stadium in front of these fans as they are the best fans in the world – the support is massive.”

Florian Kamberi has hit eight goals so far this season for Hibs, and he will act as cover for Rangers strikers Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe.
