Philippe Clement will hope to build on the semi-final win over Motherwell and pick up a head of steam.
The Rangers boss bought himself some time after pressure had built up on him following defeats to Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.
The come back win over the Steelmen required character in spades which suggests the players are still working for the Belgian, and there was quality involved in there too.
But the reality is still nine points behind Celtic and Aberdeen in the league and any further slip ups will enrage the fan base further.

Rangers ‘crying out’ for a manager like Derek McInnes
Derek McInnes is a name that has often been mentioned when people look for suggestions for who could replace Clement if it came to that.
The Kilmarnock boss and former Gers midfielder previously turned down the chance to return to Ibrox as boss when he was in charge at Aberdeen.
For that reason he may not get the chance again but there are plenty who think he should.
The 53-year-old returned Killie to the top flight from the Championship and managed a brilliant finish of fourth in the Premiership last season, getting them back into Europe.
Former Hearts midfielder Ryan Stevenson believes his old side missed a trick by not plumping for McInnes instead of Neil Critchley.
And he says Rangers would be daft to make the same mistake.
Speaking in the Daily Record, he said: “I think Rangers will be ridiculously stupid not to try to take him from Rugby Park when, inevitably, they end up looking for their next manager.
“Which will probably be sooner rather than later. They are crying out for a manager of Derek’s calibre – a throw back to the days of Walter Smith and a man who gets the DNA of that particular club.
“Look at the mess they’ve got themselves into without that kind of experience and leadership.”
Hearts should be taking advantage of Rangers situation
Stevenson went on to claim that Rangers are “vulnerable” and that Hearts should be taking advantage of that.
With Aberdeen the ones up level with Celtic, the Tynecastle club are second bottom of the table and their ex-player thinks it’s a missed opportunity to challenge for the top two.
He added: “That’s what would annoy me so much if I was in that Hearts dressing room right now. I would look at the mess Philippe Clement is in right now and I’d sniff the vulnerability coming out of Ibrox.
“I’d see what Aberdeen are achieving and I’d be kicking myself that we weren’t up there doing something very similar at the top end of the table, splitting the Old Firm and laying down a real marker in the league table.”
