Last weekend, the Daily Mail reported that DC United are lining up a swoop for Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
The 28-year-old was brought to Ibrox in 2015 by Mark Warburton and has proved a reliable stopper over his four years with the club.
Serving initially as first choice before moving to no.2 after the return of Allan McGregor, Fods offers a good shot-stopping ability and a big presence in the area.

However, he looks unlikely to earn a contract extension and with the MLS side circling, he’s highly likely to move on come the summer.
That should open the door nicely for one of the club’s highest-rated young prospects – Robby McCrorie.
The Scotland U21 international keeper is currently out on loan in the Championship with Queen of the South. This is his third stint away from the club following on from time with Berwick Rangers and Greenock Morton.
He’s been showing good form recently too. Despite not keeping a clean sheet, he earned a Man of the Match award for pulling off several sharp saves against Dundee last Friday night.

The 6ft 4″ colossus is yet to make his competitive debut for the Gers but is viewed by many as the natural successor to McGregor’s jersey.
Should Foderingham depart, McCrorie and McGregor would likely be the only remaining senior stoppers, with Jak Alnwick, who is currently on loan at Blackpool, and Andy Firth, both also out of contract in the summer.
After cutting his teeth in the lower leagues on loan, McCrorie could return as no.2 for a season or two and be ready to step up once Greegsy eventually hangs up his gloves.
