Robby McCrorie is one of a number of young Rangers players who have recently headed out on loan.
The 21-year-old keeper joined Championship side, Queen of the South, earlier this month.

It’s McCrorie’s third loan stint away from the club, following spells at Berwick Rangers and Greenock Morton.
There are high hopes for the youngster at Ibrox, and it’s expected that after a full season of first team football, he will be able to compete for the no.1 jersey.
On a personal level, he’s had an encouraging start to this spell, despite his new team suffering a convincing defeat.

On Saturday, The Doonhammers got their League Cup campaign underway at home to Motherwell.

Encouragingly, for McCrorie, he went straight into the team. He also managed to keep a clean sheet in the first half against the Premiership opposition.
According to the official QoS match report, the young Ger pulled off a particularly smart stop from early ‘Well substitute, James Scott.
In terms of the result, things were to unravel in the latter stages of the game, though. Liam Donnelly sent McCrorie the wrong way from the penalty spot after 71 minutes, before goals from Sherwin Seedorf and Jermaine Hylton made it 3-0.
It was always going to be a tough ask up against SPL opposition, though, and it appears the youngster put in a good shift.
Following the game, he was named Man of the Match by the QoS Twitter account.

Looking ahead, he’ll hope that when league action starts to kick in, there will be clean sheets aplenty, as his adopted side makes a charge for promotion.
