Rangers fans have gathered at Ibrox Stadium to welcome the staff and players to the ground ahead of the Champions elect facing off against St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.

The Gers are within four points of title glory and the end is in sight with Steven Gerrard’s side potentially being crowned Champions this weekend.

Supporters aplenty have gathered outside the stadium – socially distanced and wearing masks we imagine – to cheer the team behind it all and their arrival at the ground.

Videos aplenty have been cropping up on social media but there is wonderful thread by Twitter user @Chr1sBett who at the very least deserves a follow and a mention for compiling it:

This follows on from an explosive fireworks display outside the ground in the 55th minute when Rangers played Livingston in the Scottish Premiership.

Supporters would let off a rapturous display into the skies above the Tony Macaroni with play even having to be halted due to fireworks landing on the field.

This is just the beginning for Rangers fans as the celebrations ramp up ahead of this long-awaited first crown in decade.

This Rangers team must be walking on water and alongside the management staff will be Ibrox legends for eternity once they clinch that trophy.

Attention will now turn to Ibrox at 3pm where Rangers can take one step closer to the title before Celtic play at Tannadice tomorrow.

Should the Parkhead fail to win, the trophy will belong to Rangers, and they’ll never live it down if they brick it from a Parkhead title showdown.
