Todd Cantwell just “gets” being a Rangers player, someone who has found their spiritual home.
Technical ability only gets you so far, however, the 25-year old former Norwich City playmaker has proven that he has the mental toughness too.

Only for Todd Cantwell to lead an impromptu sing-a-long including a few add-ons of his own – again, not those ones.
Simply the best is certainly a phrase that could be applied to Cantwell, if he had managed to lead us to a couple more Old Firm wins then the player of the year trophy could have been heading in a different direction.

With six goals and four assists in 16 Premiership fixtures, it’s safe to say that the once £50m rated midfielder has hit the ground running.
It has to be remembered too that Cantwell was short of minutes before arriving at Ibrox and the best could yet be to come.
A good pre-season, a couple of new forwards and Michael Beale can build the team around Todd Cantwell, he has already shown he can be trusted to do that role for Rangers.
In European games he can play in a more advanced position, domestically, he can play deeper when we dominate possession.
From both areas of the park, Cantwell can be our main man and with even better players around him could be our most exciting signing since Paul Gascoigne.
The only issue is, if he continues where he left off this season, we might not have him for long.
Just as well his football is better than his singing.
