Todd Cantwell’s return to the Rangers starting XI has seen an immediate improvement in our performances which is no coincidence.
The only surprising statistic is that the playmaker’s key goal against Sparta Prague was his first of the season in which he has, at times, cut a frustrated figure.
Moving to an unfamiliar right wing role has seen Todd Cantwell flourish for Rangers though with a declaration of his love for the club on social media a clear indication of his current contentment.

Todd Cantwell loving life at Rangers
The 25-year old has never been one to hold back on his opinion but it is clear that he is enjoying his football now, even if he isn’t quite 100%.
Philippe Clement has resisted the urge to keep the Gers number 13 on the pitch, even in tight games, choosing to protect him instead so that he is fit for the challenges to come.
Writing on X, Todd Cantwell responded to the official Rangers page when they posted a picture of his goal celebration.
A reference to his song which could be heard at full volume with the comment – “Todd Cantwell is red, white and blue”.
To which the player himself quote tweeted from inside the Ibrox dressing room – “And I am”.
Todd Cantwell has found happiness at Rangers.
He is honest enough to admit that he would like another crack at the Premier League and has even backed himself to make it into the England squad one day and, if he is to achieve this dream, he has to be playing regularly and at a similar level to his Sparta display week in, week out.
The grass isn’t always green on the other side though as both Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent have found to their cost.
Maybe, if he ever has the decision to make, Todd Cantwell will remember the feeling after he scored against Prague and feel that home is where the heart is, and that home is Rangers.
