Todd Cantwell looks like a man on a mission for Rangers at the moment, covering every blade of grass in the process.
The 25-year old had a difficult start to life under Gers boss Philippe Clement having to play out of position, however, the squad first ethos now sees the former Norwich City playmaker central to everything we do.
As one clip doing the rounds on social media shows though, Todd Cantwell isn’t just a super player, apparently the Rangers midfielder has special powers too.

Todd Cantwell takes to social media in Rangers moment response
Against St Johnstone, it was like watching Paul Gascoigne in the mid-nineties.
Not because they have comparable talents but for two entirely different reasons.
For a start, the McDiarmid Park playing surface was not one that you would expect to see in 2024 at an elite level.
Next, there was the treatment of Todd Cantwell almost every time Rangers had possession.
Referee Matthew McDermid applied the age-old Scottish football rule of allowing every player one free hit, it’s only a surprise that Cantwell lasted as long as the 59th minute given how many times he was clattered.
Rangers struggled to get much going in the first-half, however there were a few dangerous moments before Mohamed Diomande opened the scoring.
One of which came when Cantwell had been fouled (again) just outside the Saints penalty area.
And this is when our bizarre moment happened.
Standing on the edge of the box ready to deal with any clearances, Cantwell lofts what looks like a bit of sock tape towards St Johnstone midfielder Daniel Philipps.
What happens next would draw national outrage if it was the other way around…
I’m not quite sure what Philipps was doing, going down holding his hamstring when the bit of tape barely reached his ankle when it bounced off the pitch.
It’s safe to say that he realised pretty quickly that he was only making himself look stupid and made a speedy recovery.
Given what Cantwell gets booked for most weeks compared to what he has to put up with, I’m surprised McDermid didn’t get called over to the VAR monitor.
Seeing the funnier side, Todd Cantwell responded on his X account after Rangers went top of the league:
“Maybe I’m a power ranger!”
Hopefully he is, it will make the title race an awful lot more interesting…
