The sale of tickets for Rangers’ match with Bayer Leverkusen has begun for season ticket holders, with the public sale set to begin at 9am on Friday 6th March.
The Gers are set to face the German outfit in the last 16 of the Europa League after a stunning Ibrox comeback helped the club to a 4-2 aggregate victory over Portuguese club Braga.
Now supporters will get to see Steven Gerrard’s side in Europe at least one more time this season as the Ibrox club welcomes the currently 5th placed Bundesliga side.
Ticket prices for season ticket holders begin at £43 for adults and £23 for juveniles with those on the Continuous Credit Card Scheme set to be charged on Wednesday.
Should season ticket holders fail to purchase their tickets by Friday morning, then their seats will go on sale to the general public.
Ticket prices for non-season ticket holders will begin at £45, with child tickets costing £25, as Rangers look to take commercial advantage of the club’s progress in Europe.
Rangers’ run in the Europa League remains one of the final flickers of hope for supporters this season and there’s no doubt this match at Ibrox will be a sell-out.
Rangers have already raked in upwards of £7.2m in prize money from this season’s Europa League with matchday ticket sales and TV money still to come.
But if they’re looking to make any more by qualifying for the next stage they’ll have to overcome Champions League drop-downs Bayer Leverkusen.
They showed their quality at the weekend by holding Bundesliga hopefuls RB Leipzig to a draw in Germany.
